Kevin J. Hale
Assistant Professor
Kevin joined UNCW as an Assistant Professor in 2020, where he teaches undergraduate financial accounting courses and governmental/not-for-profit accounting in the MSA program. His research focuses on judgment and decision-making in accounting, with an emphasis on auditor-client interactions. He received his PhD in accounting from Virginia Tech, and prior to this, he oversaw financial reporting for athletics at East Carolina University and served as the controller of their athletics foundation. He is a North Carolina native, and in his free time, he enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with his family.
