Research Interests
I study coastal ocean physics, focusing on interactions between the wave driven surf-zone with the wind, wave and buoyancy driven inner-shelf (offshore of where waves break). I'm interested in how these processes contribute to coastal tracer evolution, like fine sediments and pollution. To study coastal processes, we use a combination of in situ and remote observations, and numerical models ranging from highly-idealized to quasi-realistic.
