Richard M Ginnetti
Assistant Professor of Practice
Rich Ginnetti holds a Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) from Central Michigan University and has studied Biostatistics at the Ph.D. level at the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) School of Public Health. While at Pitt, he was a teaching fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE). He also has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, an MS in Industrial Engineering, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering. He has over thirty years of experience in engineering and business, including eight years in healthcare leadership, and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Research Interests
His research, at a high level, is focused on population health, social determinants of health, and health disparities, with a special emphasis on the aging LGBTQ+ population. His work addresses issues like social isolation and mental and physical health disparities and is driven by a passion for addressing systemic inequities within the aging LGBTQ+ community, particularly in examining the role of social connectedness. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of American College Health and the Journal of Health Administration Education.
