Research Interests

My research interests broadly focus on adult development, aging, and end of life. Current interests include future self-concept, self-regulatory beliefs, health beliefs and behaviors, and the psychology of death and dying.
Specifically, my lab explores the hopes and fears we have related to cognitive and physical health, aging, and dying, as well as the self-regulatory beliefs we have related to attaining these hopes and avoiding these fears.
Other interests include death anxiety, attitudes toward Medical Aid in Dying (MAID), and promoting Advance Directive (AD) completion.
