Sara C. Fowler

Academic Advisor

Sara joined the Academic Resource Center within the College of Science and Engineering in June 2024. As an Academic Advisor, she works with students to understand their degree requirements from major declaration to graduation.
Prior to joining the Academic Resource Center, Sara worked with the Watson College of Education as a Student Success Advisor. In that position, Sara worked with students pursuing degrees in education in both the main campus and online extension programs. She served as a liaison to the Education of Young Children program and worked on projects, such as Transfer Degree Plans, to ensure a smooth transition for incoming transfer students.
As a student in the M.Ed. in Higher Education program through the Watson College of Education, Sara also served as a Graduate Assistant and Intern with the Watson Student Success Center during the transition from an advising office to a Success Center. Prior to completing her graduate program, Sara majored in Psychology at North Carolina State University.
