Anastasiya V. Ferrell

Anastasiya (Ana) Ferrell joined the SON faculty in 2019 after serving as a health educator consultant and health policy specialist for the Health Policy and Tobacco Control Office within the Florida Department of Health and working as a tobacco cessation facilitator and tobacco treatment specialist at the University of Florida College of Medicine Area Health Education Center.
Community health nursing has become a major calling in Ferrell’s career. Her public health work ranged from advocacy for tobacco control to tobacco prevention and cessation.
Ferrell earned her BSN and PhD from University of Florida.
