Candace C Deans

Visiting Associate Professor

Candace Deans is in the Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems within the Cameron School of Business. Prior to her appointment at UNCW she served on the faculty at George Mason University, University of Richmond, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and Wake Forest University. While at George Mason she directed the Masters of Science in Technology Management program for eight years. She has taught in undergraduate, MBA, Masters, and Executive Programs. She has directed many executive education programs and study abroad for undergraduate and graduate programs. She has received many teaching and service awards throughout her career. Her current research interests focus on AI curriculum development and AI leadership trends. She has published in scholarly journals and written several books on leading technology topics. She is a regular participant and speaker at international academic conferences.
