Latavia Shynice Davis

My name is LaTavia Davis, and I serve as a Next Step Adviser with Advise NC at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), where I support students at Pender High School, my alma mater. In this role, I work to expand access to postsecondary pathways by providing students and their families with guidance throughout the college and career planning process. As a first-generation college graduate, I am deeply committed to helping students overcome barriers to higher education and empowering them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. My work is driven by a passion for educational equity and a desire to ensure that every student has the knowledge, resources, and support needed to achieve their goals.
