Cetin Ciner

Professor

Dr. Ciner is a Professor of Finance, specializing in international finance, commodity markets, and financial analytics. In the Cameron School of Business, he regularly teaches Multinational Financial Management and Financial Analytics courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has conducted extensive research on a variety of topics such as linkages between oil and natural gas prices, inflation and gold prices and safe haven assets in financial markets. His recent work examines predictability of US equity markets using machine learning methods and have been published in academic journals such as Economics Letters, Journal of Portfolio Management, Energy Economics and Finance Research Letters. He is a member of the editorial board of International Review of Financial Analysis and Research in International Business and Finance.
