Nancy Carson
Assistant Professor of Practice
Nancy Podrasky Carson is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Dance, specializing in Graham Modern technique, Ballet, Improvisation and Choreography. She is a founding member, serves on the board, teaches and choreographs for The Dance Cooperative, a local 501(c)3) founded in 2003. Nancy is proud to serve as the Resident Choreographer for Opera Wilmington, UNCW's resident professional opera company, She is a facilitator for Turning the Wheel, a national 501(c)3 based in Boulder, CO, which brings movement, dance, and storytelling to the underserved in the Wilmington community. Prior to UNCW, Nancy taught Graham Modern and Jazz at Syracuse University.
