Tom Cariveau is an Associate Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at UNCW.

Research Interests
Dr. Cariveau's research aims to refine methods to promote efficient learning outcomes for children with and without intellectual or developmental disabilities. We are particularly interested in methods to better understand the diverse backgrounds of our learners so that we can better individualize learning procedures to meet their specific needs.
