Donald E Bushman

Dr. Don Bushman is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at UNC Wilmington, where he teaches courses in writing and rhetoric. During his time at UNCW, he has served as both the Composition Coordinator and as the Chair of the department.

Specialization in Teaching
Dr. Bushman teaches undergraduate writing and rhetoric courses, from first-year composition to upper-level courses about such topics as argumentation, rhetorical style, and the history of rhetoric.
Professional Service
Dr. Bushman has served since 2019 as UNCW's Director of University Studies and oversees the university's general education program.
