Joni S Bowling

Joni Bowling is the Director of Administration and Resource Management at the Center for Marine Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She brings over 15 years of university leadership experience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout her career, Joni has worked in more than 45 countries and managed over $750 million in U.S. government funding, including oversight of more than $74 million in annual expenditures. She has successfully led high-performing teams across a range of operational areas, including finance, human resources, travel, administration, contracts, and organizational operations.
