Roman D Berger

Roman Berger is one of the newer members of the AP team at UNCW, managing the payment of vendors in the A-C and P-Z alphas as well as Capital Improvement invoices. His role helps maintain the university's relationship with various stakeholders by keeping university bills paid in a timely manner. In addition, he oversees the successful distribution of checks and direct deposit payments to all stakeholders every week. Born and raised on Long Island, Roman's career has been based in the maintenance of higher education procurement/business operations, starting at his alma mater at Stony Brook University. Now, he is a proud member of the Seahawk Community, and he wants to ensure that UNCW keeps operating at peak efficiency on all levels as it becomes one of North Carolina's premier collegiate institutions. In Roman's spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading novels, watching sports, and volunteering as the A/V coordinator for the Cape Fear Civil War Roundtable.
