Specialization in Teaching
In the MBA program I teach the Marketing course (MBA 542) as well as an elective on Customer Delight and the Service Experience (MBA 546). At the undergraduate level I teach services marketing (MKT447)
Research Interests
My research program centers on understanding all aspects of the delight emotion – an emotion that is theoretically and meaningfully different from satisfaction. This includes evaluating the causes and consequences of both employee and customer delight, as well as better understanding how delight fits into strategic for the firm.
Professional Service
Member of editorial review boards for the European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, Journal of Services Marketing and the Journal of Service of Theory and Practice. I also actively engage in ad-hoc reviewing for many different journals.
