Ashley K. Auerbach
Pre-Health Coordinator
Ashley Auerbach has been with UNCW since 2015. After serving College of Health & Human Services (CHHS) students for 8 years as a Student Success Advisor in the CHHS Student Success Center, Ashley transitioned to her current role as Pre-Health Coordinator in 2022. As Pre-Health Coordinator, Ashley supports pre-health students and alumni in their development as medical and allied health graduate program applicants. Ashley manages the Pre-Health Coaching Program, cross-campus and community-wide partnership events supporting pre-health student development, and digital resources. Ashley is also the point of contact for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Early Assurance Program (ESOP EAP), and CHHS iHEAL summer camps for rising 9th graders from six regional counties. In addition to her role as Pre-Health Coordinator, Ashley teaches UNI 101: First-Year Seminar (Center for Academic Advising) each fall, and CHHS 207: Pre-Health Career Exploration (College of Health & Human Services) each spring. Ashley's background in mental health counseling frames her person-centered approach to working with students as she empowers them for personal success and professional healthcare careers.
