Elaine Andrews

After graduating from St. John's University in New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing I moved to Wilmington in 1994 for better opportunities and a better way of life.

Employed with Johnson & Higgins (now Marsh Inc.), I specialized in Political Risk Insurance for multinational corporations. In 2000, I joined South Beach Grill, a local restaurant located on Wrightsville Beach. As Chief Financial Officer, I am responsible for the oversight of all financial aspects and decisions of this corporation including financial contracts, tax reporting, accounts payable & receivable, payroll and Human Resources.

In 2009, I returned to school pursuing a Master's Degree in Accountancy from UNCW. Upon graduation, I became the Finance Director at the Wilmington Convention Center. Upon leaving the Convention Center, I continued as an accounting consultant to multiple firms and non-profit organizations. In 2015 I served as President of the Wilmington Rotary Club.

I currently work as an Adjunct Professor of Managerial Accounting and Marketing at UNCW as well as Chief Financial Officer at South Beach Grill.
