House Calls

Monday, February 3, 2020 at 8:30pm-9:30pm.

Event Details:
Sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Students and Housing & Residence Life, House Calls is a one hour program that involves faculty and staff interacting with first year students in the lobby of their residence hall/area. Through this interaction, you will have the opportunity to engage first year students in conversations about how they are transitioning to the academic and extracurricular life here at UNCW. Students are afforded an opportunity to comment on their experiences thus far as well as having a chance to ask questions of you about current campus issues or academic interests. There will be music, a hot cocoa bar, and desserts available for all participants in each different residential area.  The focus of the Spring House Calls program is on First Year Spring Admitted students and new transfer students.

House Calls will take place in the lobbies of 2 residential areas - Graham Hewlett and Cornerstone Hall (Tri-House area). Volunteers will meet in an assigned area, which will be emailed to them prior to the evening of the event.
