Dr. Bradley Tolar, Biology & Marine Biology, is the principle-investigator on a $1.5M Grant Award for Coastal Research to lead the TEAL-SHIPS Transect Expedition!! The funding will support an interdisciplinary research initiative, spearheaded by Tolar, that focuses on coastal marine sciences. Co-PI's on the project include: Dr. Christian Briseño-Avena, Biology & Marine Biology; Dr. Winifred Johnson, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Dr. Matthew McLean, Biology & Marine Biology; and Dr. Sutara Suanda, Physics & Physical Oceanography.
