In October, 39 Watson College of Education students were initiated into the Alpha Alpha Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society that recognizes and supports excellence in education.
“KDP, and specifically, our local Alpha Alpha Pi Chapter, has a mission to inspire and equip teachers to thrive,” said Dennis Kubasko, WCE associate professor of secondary science education and counselor of UNCW’s KDP chapter. “We are excited to welcome so many Watson College students into this thriving community of future educators recognized for their academic integrity and service toward others.”
