Once again, UNCW has earned accolades in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Colleges rankings.
Ranked #109 in Top Public Schools, the university is newly ranked in the Undergraduate Teaching Programs at #58. Overall, UNCW is now ranked #198 (tied) among national universities.
UNCW’s nursing program is ranked #98 among the Best Undergraduate Nursing Programs, reflecting the program’s continued commitment to preparing highly skilled healthcare professionals. The Cameron School of Business undergraduate program is tied at #225 nationally, and the psychology program is tied at #235.
In addition to program-specific recognition, UNCW is ranked #207 among Best Value Schools, highlighting the university’s mission to provide an outstanding education at an affordable cost. The university is also tied at #145 in the Best Colleges for Veterans category, reflecting UNCW’s strong commitment to supporting military-affiliated students. UNCW is also a Top Performer on Social Mobility, tied at #220.
