Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Siddle

Fourth-year UNCW men's basketball head coach Takayo Siddle will be among the Seahawks honored by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce during the group's 5th Annual 40 Under 40 gala next month.

The 40 honorees will be recognized for their achievements as young professionals during a special event on Sept. 21 at the Brooklyn Arts Center.

According to the chamber, the event is "a tribute to those who are propelling businesses to unprecedented heights, forging paths that firmly establish their organizations as industry leaders, and leaving an indelible mark through their remarkable contributions to our vibrant community."

Nominees must be younger than 40 years old as of Sept. 21, 2023, and live or work in Brunswick, New Hanover, or Pender Counties. A seven-member selection panel reviewed the nominations before making selections.
