A total of 72 Seahawk student-athletes are among the graduates this weekend and summer in UNCW’s Class of 2021. 

The university’s 100th Commencement exercises will take place both virtually and in-person during multiple ceremonies on May 7-8, 2021. Nearly 2,183 undergraduates, 593 master’s and 31 doctoral students in the Class of 2021 will be individually recognized for their accomplishments.
 
"We’re extremely proud of all of our student-athletes," said Jimmy Bass, UNCW's athletic director. "This group has been through a great deal and persevered through many challenges over the last four years. They are more than well prepared to be great leaders in their communities.”
 
With eight student-athletes each on the list, the women’ soccer and women’s track and field teams feature the largest groups earning their degrees.
