Notice: Option to Opt Out of Office Cleaning, Banner Clean-Up Following Hurricane Isaias

This message is being sent by the Office of University Relations on behalf of the Physical Plant.

Office Cleaning: For faculty and staff returning to campus, the housekeeping department has developed a way for campus employees to opt out of having their offices cleaned should there be concern about having others in your office. By August 10, a door hanger will be distributed to each office, which may be placed on the exterior door handle to the office to alert the housekeeping staff not to clean there. If at any time you would like to have your office cleaned again, simply remove the door hanger and the housekeeping staff will clean the office at their next scheduled time. If you opt out of office cleaning and would like your office trash dumped by the housekeeping staff, please put your trash can in the hallway outside of your office door Friday as you leave work for the day and the night time staff will empty it for you.

Banners: Following the recent hurricane, Facilities has picked up numerous banners and support poles that came dislodged during the storm. If your department is missing a banner, please contact the Facilities help desk at 910.962.3101 to arrange a pick-up.
