The UNCW Office of the Arts invites the campus and community to the unveiling of the 2019-20 UNCW Presents season and a farewell reception for Kristen Brogdon at 6 p.m. on May 29 in Kenan Auditorium.

Brogdon, current director of the Office of the Arts and Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Community Engagement, is leaving UNCW to become director of programming at Northrop at the University of Minnesota in late June. During her four-year tenure at UNCW, she helped establish the popular Lumina Festival of the Arts, Seahawk FAM series and continued to curate the longstanding UNCW Presents season, which has brought entertainment industry standouts such as Rhiannon Giddens and David Sedaris to campus.

The free event will be a toast to her future endeavors as well as the ushering in of another artistically and culturally diverse performance season of music, theatre, ballet and more.

Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served, and the box office will be open to purchase season tickets and packages. Please RSVP by May 22.
