New Hanover County Schools and the University of North Carolina Wilmington announced today the creation of the Future Teachers Career Academy, scheduled to begin instruction in the fall of 2018 at Isaac Bear Early College High School. The FTCA is a joint initiative of UNCW’s Watson College of Education and NHCS and is designed to give high school students an early opportunity to work toward becoming teachers.
