Junior Madara Straume of UNCW has been named the Most Outstanding Performer in the recent Colonial Athletic Association Women's Tennis Championships, conference officials announced early Thursday.
 
Straume becomes only the second UNCW player to earn the honor after former standout Angie Sekely captured the award during the school's title run in 2014. Voting was conducted by the CAA's women's tennis coaches. Read more about Straume's accomplishment.
