WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Midnite Madness, the annual tradition that signals the arrival of college basketball season, is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Trask Coliseum for UNCW's men's and women's hoops programs.

This year's edition has a special twist: The CAA champion volleyball team will take on Towson at 7 p.m. at Trask Coliseum, followed by Midnite Madness at 9:30 p.m. The women's soccer team is also slated to entertain William & Mary that night at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.
