While former UNCW men's soccer standout Colin Bonner has started his professional career, he can add one final item to his growing list of accolades – being named the 2015-16 Colonial Athletic Association Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

A business administration major with a 3.80 grade-point average, Bonner earned First-Team NSCAA All-Midwest Region and All-CAA notice after leading the Seahawks in scoring with 20 points, including seven goals and six assists. He tied for third in the CAA in goals and points and received CAA Co-Player of the Week honors after netting three goals in a 5-1 win over North Florida on Sept. 4.
