Joyce Jackson Johnson passed away on May 7, 2016. A former circulation supervisor in Randall Library, she retired in July 2012 after more than 30 years of dedicated service. Friends and former colleagues note that she made a myriad of contributions to the library, students, faculty and staff during her time at UNCW.
 
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 13 at Shaw Funeral Home (520 Red Cross St.). Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14 at St. Luke AME Zion Church in downtown Wilmington.
