The UNCW community is saddened by the loss of Richard Charles Boumenot, who passed away on Nov. 14, 2015. Boumenot had worked as a parking control officer in Auxiliary Services since 2004.

A native of Westerly, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Charles and Angeline Boumenot. He is survived by his wife, Gene; two sons, Mark and Michael; as well as four grandchildren, Katherine, Drew, Conor and Casey.

A valuable member of the campus parking department, his locker will be retired in his memory. Plans for a campus remembrance will be announced at a later time. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Further details are available in his online obituary.
