Registration Now Open for Annual OUTLOOK Breakfast
Monday, August 24, 2015
Registration is now open for the 2015 OUTLOOK Breakfast on Oct. 13. Hosted by the Cameron School of Business and Swain Center for Business and Economic Services, the breakfast serves as the region’s premier forum for economic activity and forecasting.
This year’s OUTLOOK will follow a new format and feature a panel of experts from the region’s largest institutions to discuss economic growth opportunities. Moderated by Rob Burrus, dean of UNCW’s Cameron School of Business, the panelists are Jose V. Sartarelli, Chancellor of UNCW; Jay Wileman, current Senior Vice President, COO and incoming CEO of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy; and David Simmons, Chairman and CEO of PPD.
Registered guests will begin with breakfast and networking at 7:30 a.m., immediately followed by an opening welcome at 8 a.m. and presentations by Thomas Simpson and Adam Jones. Simpson previously served on the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors and will share his outlook on the national economy. Jones will step into the role previously served by William “Woody” Hall as he presents the forecast for the Wilmington region. The panel and Q&A will follow immediately.
