UNCW’s Cameron School of Business Maintains Prestigious AACSB Business Accreditation

Wednesday, April 01, 2015

After a thorough review, the Cameron School of Business at UNCW is proud to announce it has maintained its business accreditation by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

AACSB Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world's business programs. Today, there are 727 business schools in 48 countries and territories that maintain AACSB Accreditation. This accreditation places the Cameron School in an elite mix.

The CSB currently enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate students in three degree programs and 200 graduate students in four degree programs. Its faculty are known scholars in their fields of expertise. The school also houses the prestigious Cameron Executive Network, a group of more than 200 retired and practicing executives that provide one-on-one mentoring for Cameron students.

In response to the extended accreditation, Rob Burrus, Interim Dean of the Cameron School of Business, said, “Our faculty, staff, and extensive network of volunteer CEN executives provide a world-class education for our students. Essentially, our affirmation of accreditation implies that the school has made a true commitment to a cutting-edge curriculum taught by an outstanding faculty. We are producing extremely competitive, high-quality graduates.”
