“Rosalynn is a great addition to our senior management team in Business Affairs and the university community,” said Whitfield.  “She is an accomplished human resources professional, and her recruitment represents accomplishing another milestone in our strategy to build the next generation Business Affairs team at UNCW.  I appreciate the diligent work of the search committee, chaired by Associate Vice Chancellor Bob Fraser, and the members from across the university who served.”

As UNCW’s chief human resources officer, Martin will guide the development of campus-wide talent management strategies by establishing a framework to actively recruit, develop, and retain a diverse and talented work force; develop policies and practices that champion diversity and create a safe and inclusive work culture. “I’m excited about this opportunity and look forward to applying my skills and experiences to guide the development of talent management strategies,” she said.
