UNCW to Host Ebola Community Forum on Oct. 30

The University of North Carolina Wilmington is collaborating with several education and healthcare experts to present "Ebola: Sharing the Facts, Not the Hysteria" as a community forum on campus Oct. 30.

The forum, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 4-5 p.m. in Room 1005 of McNeill Hall, home of the College of Health and Human Services. Event parking will be available in the following lots: 

  • Parking Deck V
  • Lot FF
  • Lot S
  • Lots R1 and R2
  • Lot I

Forum panelists are: 

  • David Rice, New Hanover County Health Director
  • Valita Quattlebaum, New Hanover County Schools Chief Communication Officer
  • Dr. Paul Kamitsuka, New Hanover Regional Medical Center Epidemiologist
  • Dr. Richard Trotta, VA Medical Center
