Monday, June 24, 2013

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures has received a STARTALK grant to host a residential camp June 17-June 29 to inspire about 20 students to learn more about Russian language and culture. STARTALK is a government initiative designed to increase the number of Americans learning critical need languages.

The immersion program allows middle and high school students to learn the basics of the language from native speakers and professional instructors, while being exposed to authentic Russian traditions, folklore, cinema and cuisine. See for more information.
