Exam Schedules

The time of a final exam is determined by the start time of the class's regular meeting schedule. Locate the start time of your class in the table to determine the day and time of your final exam.

  • For example, if your course meets only on MW or only M, please follow the schedule for MWF at the same time. If your course meets only on T or only on R, please follow the schedule for TR at the same time.
If your class starts at a time other than one of those listed, please choose the time slot closest to your class start time.

  • For example, if a MWF class begins at 9:30, the instructor should choose the exam corresponding with the 9:00-9:50 a.m. MWF time slot.

FAQs

 In case of a schedule conflict, contact your instructor(s) as soon as possible.

A student who is scheduled to take three or more final examinations in one calendar day may have one or more rescheduled so that no more than two per day are required.

To reschedule an exam the student must notify the three (or four) instructors and the appropriate dean(s) of this desire at least two weeks before the beginning of the final examination period.

It will be the responsibility of the instructors, working with the student, to reschedule the exam(s) and so inform the student and the appropriate dean(s) at least one week before the beginning of the final examination period.

Some evening classes follow a different academic schedule. When this occurs, final exams will be given on the last scheduled day of class. Other than exceptions made for some evening classes, all exams will be given as scheduled. In case of a schedule conflict, contact your instructor(s) as soon as possible.

Rescheduling of a final examination for an entire class may be done only with the approval of the appropriate dean.
