Awards Descriptions

The Division of Student Affairs recognizes outstanding service and exemplary leadership that embodies the characteristics listed below. This is the highest recognition within the division. The recipient of this award will also be nominated for the UNCW Award of Excellence. Recognition will be for one or more of the following:

  1. Demonstrates ongoing service to others within the Division of Student Affairs, campus and/or the community
  2. Maintains a consistent positive attitude
  3. Exceeds expectations and responsibilities in job performance
  4. Exemplifies a commitment to excellence
  5. Nurtures an environment of openness and acceptance
