Join MarineQuest on World Ocean Day to celebrate and honor the ocean! Our ocean provides us with oxygen to breathe, food to eat, and endless inspiration. However, our actions can impact the ocean in many ways and it is up to each of us to keep it healthy. Bring your family and friends to find out how you can help protect and conserve the ocean on World Ocean Day!

Where: Ft. Fisher State Park

Registration: The event is free, but pre-registration is required in our online form.

This year, participants will attend a Storm Surge Protectors workshop from 9-12, where they will learn how to conduct a wetland assessment for our citizen science project. After the workshop, our Turtle Trash Collector team will be hosting a beach or wetland cleanup at Fort Fisher State Park from 1-2:30.
