Excited to stay residential this summer at MarineQuest?
SUMMER 2023
MarineQuest is pleased to be hosting residential programs for Summer 2023. As excited as we are to offer residential programs this summer, we also know how important it is to continue to maintain our commitment to safety and keep protocols in place for the health of our students. We will continue to follow CDC, NC University System, and American Camp Association guidelines and best practices for residential programs in order to provide your student with the best possible MarineQuest experience.
ACCOMMODATIONS
UNCW MarineQuest occupies a university residential hall for the duration of our residential offerings. We share this space with other UNCW Academic Minor programming. UNCW MarineQuest occupies our own floors. As a state policy, girls and boys are on separate floors.
Summer 2023, Loggerhead Hall will be your students home away from home. The facility is a suite-style space with both single and double rooms. One week program participants will stay in double rooms and our multi-week programs will stay in single rooms.
Ready to see the residential facility? Tour Loggerhead!
DINING
UNCW MarineQuest works with campus catering for almost all student meals. Most meals are eaten in UNCW's newest campus dining hall, the Shore. In addition to eating in the Shore students will build bagged lunches each morning to be eaten in the field or classroom. We work closely with catering to accommodate dietary restrictions so that all students eat a balanced and healthy diet. If you have any specific question regarding food while at MarineQuest please contact us.
