Sergi Rivero-Navarro obtained a Dual Track Ph.D in Spanish and Portuguese, with a Second Field in Visual Studies, at Harvard University. His dissertation analyzed the representation of Profane Illuminations in literature and films of Latin-America and the Iberian Peninsula. His multidisciplinary and Trans-Atlantic interests include as well Visual and Media Studies, the essay as literary genre, and the avant-garde movement.
