Graduate Student Helps to Uncover Secrets of Historic Cemetery

Karla Berrios, a master's degree student in the Public History program, has partnered with Wilmington Historic Foundation to help determine the boundaries of Maides Cemetery, a historic Black cemetery, and to identify possible unmarked grave sites. The project has received local and national media attention, and we congratulate Karla on her achievements!
