  • This competition revolves around the concept of a lean start-up. Students and advisors should become familiar with this concept before they begin constructing their deliverables (executive summary and rocket pitch).

  • Participants will also want to familiarize themselves with the following concepts: For-Profit or Social (non-profit) Entrepreneurship, how to write an executive summary, and create a rocket pitch.

  • Resources are provided in the education section of this website. However, we encourage teams to do their own research as well.

  • Choose one of two tracks for participation: For-Profit Enterprise or Not-for-Profit / Social Enterprise

  • Create your executive summary and rocket pitch video using the concept of lean start-up. For further criteria please see the Competition Criteria

  • The core business idea must originate from one or all of the team members (no franchises or core ideas from parents, adults, etc.)
