GLS 592: The Contemplative Life
Dr. Beverly McGuire
This online and asynchronous course examines aspects of contemplative life including stillness, silence, mantras, movement, visualization, and interpersonal relationships. It discusses contemplative practices from a variety of philosophical and religious traditions, and it includes experiential assignments that allow you to apply methods of contemplation in your own life. There are no prerequisites for the course.
