GLS 592-801: Buddhism

This course will survey the essentials of Buddhism as seen in its ethical and social thought, meditation practices, philosophies, and rituals. We will focus especially on Buddhist methods of contemplation in Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana traditions.
