My earliest gaming memories are from around 1989 playing NES with my older brothers. Still to this day I love playing video games. It’s because of this early embedded passion that I jumped at the opportunity to bring Dr. Pastore’s vision to the big screen.
It was such a pleasure to work with him and all of the other wonderful faculty, staff and students involved in the Esports program here at UNCW. From a grassroots effort to a state-funded program, Esports here at UNCW have grown substantially over the last few years because of their hard work.
It’s so exciting to see this community flourish and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for the program.
