UNC Wilmington will host the next HawkTalks Career Networking Series on Thursday, Feb. 21. Panelists will speak at 7 p.m. in Lumina Theater followed by a networking reception in the Clock Tower Lounge.

The panel will focus on a wide variety of liberal arts career paths and experiences.  Key speakers include UNCW alumni and community leaders: Ed Hall ’13, CEO of Petrics; Nick Cannon ’15, Transportation Demand Management Coordinator for Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization; Shane Fernando ’00, ’09M, Director of the Wilson Center; and Haley Branner ’18, Education Coordinator at the Cameron Art Museum.

As outlined in the Strategic Plan, UNCW is focused on student success and emphasizes commitment to community engagement. HawkTalks was designed by UNCW’s Student Ambassadors to embrace those values and introduce students to an array of potential careers and life experiences.

The College of Arts and Sciences, Undergraduate Studies, the Career Center, the UNCW Alumni Association, the Cameron School of Business and the College of Health and Human Services have collaborated with the Ambassadors to support this initiative.

The series is free and open to the general public.
