Social Justice Symposium: Combating the School-to-Prison Pipeline

"Combating the School-To-Prison Pipeline,” a social justice symposium, will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the Warwick Center Ballroom 5.

The keynote speaker is Mara Schiff from Florida Atlantic University. She is president of PeaceWorks Consulting, Inc., and vice president of the National Association for Community and Restorative Justice. She is an internationally recognized expert in restorative justice and combatting the school-to-prison pipeline.

The event also includes a panel discussion with local leaders (facilitated by UNCW faculty member Kimberly Cook):
