FaceAge Installation, Events to Explore Issues of Diversity and Inclusion Through the Lens of Aging

The College of Health and Human Services will host a series of events that focus on furthering the collective understanding of issues related to diversity and inclusion. The main event will be FaceAge, an award-winning video program in which young adults (18-22) and aging individuals (65+) reflect on life while studying and describing one another’s faces.  

FaceAge will be on display Oct. 13-26 on the second-floor lobby of McNeill Hall. To learn more about the associated events, click here (PDF).

The series is sponsored by UNCW, Penn State University, Barnes and Noble Education and the Frank Harr Foundation. UNCW units supporting the programming include the College of Health and Human Services: the Globalization, Culture and Diversity Committee, the Gerontology Program in the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences, the School of Social Work; the College of Arts and Sciences: the Department of Film Studies and the Department of Sociology and Criminology; the Office of Online and Distance Education, the Office of the Arts and the Office of Community Engagement.
