The UNCW Department of Communication Studies will host its 4th Biennial Integrated Marketing Communication Conference, "IMC & Popular Culture," on campus June 1-3. A key goal of the conference is to explore how IMC, as grounded in the communication discipline, provides frameworks and opportunities for engaging popular culture. 

This conference attracts scholars from the fields of IMC and popular culture. Tim Sellnow and Deanna Sellnow of the Nicholson School of Communication at the University of Central Florida are the keynote speakers. Their groundbreaking work in the fields of crisis and risk communication and the rhetoric popular culture will be part of a plenary session open to OLLI members and local professionals via webcast.

IMC Conference Registration $110 - includes the Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening events as well as breakfast and lunch on Friday and Saturday

IMC Pre-conference “Teaching with Adobe Creative Cloud” $25 - includes lunch and materials for the pre-conference from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 1

IMC Guest/Spouse Evening Event Rate $60 - includes Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening events

All daytime events are in Leutze Hall. Thursday's evening reception is at Shell Island; Friday night's keynote event is at Bakery 105 and the Saturday event is at the Forte Institute.
